Painted "en plein air" during the 2018 Santa Fe Plein Air Fiesta Paintout Competition. Location: Ghost Ranch Education Center parking lot. The clouds began to roll in while painting the cliffs facing east. Then I turned around and saw this scene. I had to paint it! So I began a new painting.
