Free brush strokes and mixing of colors on canvas. While painting, I was thinking of turbulent skies and water against the backdrop of the implacable cliffs. Work in progress. Local color (brighter) to be added to foliage with some brighter splashes in the water. No solvents used. Walnut oil/alkyd used as the medium. Inquiries: karen.halbert@gmail.com.
