Sold 6/28/2019. My intent: capture the unusual light and color in the dramatic place, one of the places O'Keeffe liked to paint. It i now the sacred home f an Islamic group, and so difficult to paint "en plein air". I can see this location in the distance from my favorite suite at the Abiquiu Inn. I took many photographs on a beautiful fall day with sun and stormy clouds. and enjoy reliving the experience while painting. I will be painting more scenes.
