Step 1. Construct main diagonals from corner to corner. The diagonal leading from the top left corner down to the lower right corner is called the "Sinister" diagonal. The diagonal leading from the lower left corner up to the upper right corner is titled, the "Baroque" diagonal. (We also include one of the reciprocals here: the line perpendicular to a main diagonal from the opposite corner).
