9x12 , Oil, $400

Painted "en plein air" one early morning far out on the Monastery Road at an Oxbow on the Chama River. This is my favorite painting venue, worth the long, hard drive down a single lane washboard road. A painting friend had a flat tire but fortunately for her a monk came along and helped. This road is well worth visiting the the continuous most specagular cliffs and rock formations in new Mexico. An amazing place and river.
